We are not responsible for the privacy or data security practices of our Customers, which may differ from those set forth in this Policy.
Moreover, this Policy does not apply to any third-party applications or services that are used in connection with our Services, or any other products, services or accounts provided by other entities under their own terms of service and privacy policy (collectively, "Third-Party Services"). For example, the Services may permit you to connect, directly or through another application, third party applications and platforms, and other products and services. These Third-Party Services are not part of our Services and are provided by independent third parties under their policies and terms.

We collect information in connection with your access or use of our Services. Information You Provide to Us:

To create an account for the Services or to enable certain features, we may require that you provide us with information for your account such as name, email, password, and authentication credentials. · Other Information You Provide. We receive other information from you when you choose to interact with us in other ways, such as if you sign up for one of our webinars or newsletters, participate in a research study or event, or otherwise communicate with us.
· Business Contact Information. If you are a business representative, we collect your information in connection with the performance of the agreement or potential agreement with us. This information may include your first name, last name, company contact information (e.g., email, phone, address), job title, and any other information related to the performance of the agreement with us.
Information We Collect Automatically:
When you visit, use, and interact with the Services, we may receive the following information about your visit, use, or interactions (“Technical Information”):

· Other Users: The Services may permit you to make your information and content visible to other users, such as through features like profile sharing, chat sharing, private repository sharing, list sharing, playbook sharing, etc., or if you interact with our community hub at hub.lawinsider.com. If you elect to share your information or content, or otherwise access our community hub, then your information will be shared and made visible to other users of the Services.
· Change of Control: We may share your information in connection with a change of ownership or control of all or part of our business (such as a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or bankruptcy).
· Compliance: We may share your information to support our audit, compliance, and corporate governance functions.
· Security and Fraud Prevention: We may share your information if we have a good-faith belief that access, use, preservation, or disclosure of such information is reasonably necessary to detect, protect against, or investigate fraud or security issues.

G. How Do We Safeguard Your Personal Information?
We take reasonable steps to protect your Personal Information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, misuse, or destruction in compliance with Malaysian laws and regulations. Unfortunately, no data transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. You play a crucial part for the safety and security of your Personal Information. If you have an account with us, you are responsible for keeping your membership details confidential. Your account is protected by your account password and we urge you to take steps to keep your Personal Information safe by not disclosing your password and by logging out of your account after each use. I. Managing Your Privacy
Changing or Deleting Your Personal Data.
All users may review, update, correct or delete the Personal Information furnished by a user in their user account (including any imported contacts) by contacting us or by accessing your user account. For your protection, we may only share and update the Personal Information associated with the specific email address that you use to send us your request, and we may need to verify your identity before doing so. We will try to comply with such requests in a reasonably timely manner. If you completely and permanently delete all of your Personal Information, then your user account may become deactivated. If you wish to cancel your account, you may do so through your account page, and any personally identifiable information associated with your account will be deleted as soon as is reasonably practical or as required by applicable law. Our Company is based in Malaysia. The Services are controlled and operated by us from Malaysia and are not intended to subject us to the laws or jurisdiction of any state, country or territory other than that of Malaysia except for Third-Party Service which is subject to the domestic legal framework, rules, regulations and policies of their respective jurisdiction. Verification. In order to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, change, or deletion, we may require you to verify your credentials before you can submit a request to know, correct, or delete personal information. If you do not have an account with us, or if we suspect fraudulent or malicious activity, we may ask you to provide additional personal information for verification. If we cannot verify your identity, we will not be able to honor your request.
We currently do not share Personal Information with third parties for their direct marketing purposes, as contemplated by California Civil Code Section 1798.83, without your consent.
If you are a resident of Nevada, you have the right to opt-out of the sale of certain Personal Information to third parties who intend to license or sell that Personal Information. Where we are deemed a data processor, you should contact our Customer, the data controller, to pursue any such legal data subject rights. We will reasonably cooperate with our Customers to support and comply with any such data subject rights requests.
III. Notice to Canadian Residents
Consent. By expressly consenting to this Policy, you confirm you have read, understand, and consent to the collection, use, processing, and disclosure of your personal data in accordance with this Policy and understand that, in jurisdictions where it is available, Law Insider also relies on other lawful bases for the foregoing as more fully set out in this policy. We will only collect, use and disclose your personal data with your consent, unless otherwise permitted or required by law. Your consent may be given expressly or implied, depending on the circumstances and the sensitivity of the information involved. P. Governing Law
This Policy and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with it shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia, including the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA) and any subsidiary legislation or guidelines issued thereunder. Where applicable, this Policy shall also comply with other Malaysian legislation relevant to personal data processing and data security, such as the Communications and Multimedia Act 1998, the Computer Crimes Act 1997, and any applicable export control regulations.
While every reasonable effort is made to align our data protection and privacy practices with the requirements of the United States, the European Union (including the GDPR), and other Asian jurisdictions, this Policy and all related data processing activities are principally governed by the Malaysian PDPA. In the event of any inconsistency between foreign privacy requirements and Malaysian law, the laws of Malaysia shall prevail, unless otherwise required by applicable foreign law or treaty obligation.
